Eighteen companies from Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, were recently named among the Top 500 Chinese Private Technological Companies by Science and Technology Daily, the central media outlet announced on May 20.
In particular, the kitchen ware manufacturer Fotile, air conditioner manufacturer Aux, and optical and photoelectric products manufacturers Sunny Photoelectric and Sunny Optical were among the top 100.
The list was made to encourage private companies to enhance technological innovation and promote entrepreneurship.
The most innovative emerging companies, entrepreneurs, venture capital investors and innovation service platforms were also selected. Jin Hui, president of the Ningbo-based entrepreneur service agency Saichuang Weilai and co-founder of the Ningbo Xidian Tianlang Venture Capital Firm, was selected as one of the most innovative venture capital investors.
"The list is really a motivator for us high-tech investors. As China is currently pursuing innovation-driven development, plenty of innovative high-tech achievements and projects are needed and the support from venture capital firms is also essential," said Jin, pledging that Xidian Tianlang will continue to support China's high-tech innovation and application.
Saichuang Weilai is committed to introducing global talents for regional development, and has introduced more than 100 high-level talents to Zhejiang province over the past few years.
